I hold a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Essex (UK), alongside a Postdoc in Language Didactics from the University of Porto (Portugal). My research primarily focuses on Linguistic Studies and English Language Teaching. Within Linguistic Studies, I have concentrated on Inflectional Morphology and Morphological Theory, specifically exploring Inflection and Contact Varieties. In the field of English Language Teaching, my work focuses on teaching methodologies in ELT and Initial Teacher Education. |

I am Senior member of CELGA-ILTEC (Centro de Estudos de Linguística Geral e Aplicada & Instituto de Linguística Teórica e Computacional), where I coordinate the research line Léxico e Modelização Computacional. I am also invited researcher at CEIS 20 (Centro de Estudos Interdisciplinares da Universidade de Coimbra) within the research lines Políticas e Organizações Educativas e Dinâmicas Educacionais and Humanidades Digitais.
