Pedro Miguel Alves Ribeiro Correia holds a PhD in Social Sciences (Specialty in Public Administration) from the Technical University of Lisbon, has a Degree in Law from the University of Lisbon Law School and has a Degree in Statistics and Information Management from the Information Management School at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He is Invited Associate Professor at the University of Coimbra Faculty of Law, Consultant (by Nomination) at the Directorate General for Justice Policy, Portuguese Ministry of Justice, Vice President of the Center for Administration and Public Policies, Director and Chief Editor of the Public Sciences & Policies scientific journal, Coordinator of the National Observatory of Public Administration and Foreign Collaborator of the Justice Administration Research Group at the University of Brasília. He published more than 170 articles in specialized journals and 23 works in scientific events annals. He has 7 book chapters. He has more than 400 items of technical production and participated in 34 events in Portugal and abroad. He supervised 2 doctoral thesis and co-supervised 2, supervised 11 master's dissertations and he co-supervised 1, supervised 22 works of graduation/bachelor's degree and co-supervised 1. He received 7 awards and/or honors. His main work areas are Social Sciences with an emphasis on Political Sciences, Economics and Management (Public Administration, Public Policy, Interdisciplinary and Law) and Exact Sciences with an emphasis on Mathematics, Computer and Information Sciences (Statistics, Data Analysis and Data Mining).
