Simone Guidi

Simone Guidi (1984) is an Assistant Professor (Professor Auxiliar) of Philosophy at the University of Coimbra's Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FLUC). PhD at the University SAPIENZA of Rome (2013), he has been (2017-2019) FCT Post-Doc Researcher at the University of Coimbra's Instituto de Estudos Filosóficos (IEF). 

He is the coordinator of the international project Conimbricenses.org and the editorial coordinator of the international peer-reviewed open access journal "Lo Sguardo" (WoS Journal). He is an editor of "Quaestio. Yearbook of the History of Metaphysics" (Brepols, SCOPUS and WoS Journal), and editor of "Bruniana & Campanelliana" (Fabrizio Serra, SCOPUS and WoS Journal) as well as the editor of the international peer-reviewed journal "Azimuth. Philosophical Coordinates".

He is the author of several articles, book chapters, encyclopedia entries, monographies and translation, among which especially L'angelo e la macchina. Sulla genesi della res cogitans cartesiana (FrancoAngeli, Milano 2018) and the first Italian translation of H. Bergson, Storia dell'idea di tempo (Mimesis, Milano 2019).
