Marilia Curado is Full Professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering of the University of Coimbra, Portugal, where she obtained the PhD in Computer Engineering in 2005. She is currently Director of the Laboratory for Informatics and Systems of Pedro Nunes Institute. Her research interests include resource allocation and management of computer networks, resilience and energy efficiency in beyond 5G networks, and Internet of Things. She is member of the Editorial Board of Elsevier Computer Networks, Computer Communications, and Internet of Things journals, and has been involved in the scientific organization and coordination of several international conferences. She has participated in many national and international projects.
