Scientific areas of interest:
His interests are in the range of the photophysics of organic conjugated oligomers and polymers for LED and solar cell devices applications. Currently, his research interests are also focused in the study of the excited state charge carrier dynamics of inorganic photoanodes for application in redox flow batteries, together with the study and optimization of organic—inorganic halide hybrid perovskites solar cells and development of organic-inorganic hybrid white light emitters based in materials possessing aggregation induced emission, crystallization induced emission, room-temperature phosphorescence, thermal activated delayed fluorescence and triplet-triplet annihilation photon upconversion.
Other research experience:
Steady-state and time-resolv ed fluorescence together with ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy.
