Claudete Oliveira Moreira
Holds a PhD in Tourism, Leisure and Culture from the University of Coimbra (2014) with a thesis titled Tourism, Territory and Development: Competitiveness and Strategic Management of Touristic Destinations.
Previously she received an Master in Human Geography, Territory and Development from the University of Coimbra (2005) and had graduated in Geography from the University of Coimbra (1995).
Claudete Oliveira Moreira is Assistant Professsor, Tourism section, at the Department of Geography and Tourism of the University of Coimbra.
She is currently Sub-Director of the PhD in Food Heritage: Cultures and Identities at the University of Coimbra, Director of the Master's Degree in Tourism, Territory and Heritage and Sub-Director of the Postgraduate Diploma in Food Heritage and Territorial Development, University of Coimbra Centre for Higher Studies in Alcobaça. She is the representative of the 80 researchers of the Research and Development Unit (R&D) CEGOT - University of Coimbra and member of the Assembly of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
