Teaching Methods

This is a real case-based course. In each class invited guests will introduce the topics of innovation management included in course syllabus. Students participation in classes will be promoted and will be considered on the course evaluation. 

Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit contributes to several learning outcomes (OA) of the MBA, namely:

OA1. Lead themselves and others in the achievement of organizational goals

OA2. Think critically and make decisions based on complex information

OA3. Maximize resources for the benefit of organizations and society

The specific objective (OAE) is to develop innovation skills. At the end of the course, students should be able to:

OAE1. Select correctly and apply innovation concepts and tools

OAE2. Integrate design knowledge and techniques in the development processes of new products and services

OAE3. Formulate new business models through the Business Model Canvas tool

OAE4. Use Pitch format communication techniques: Elevator, Deck, Storytelling
