Teaching Methods
The teaching of this course begins with the cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, showing the influence of exercise on the heart and vessels, with evidence of the limits of action, reaction and adaptation of the heart and vascular system.
Cardiovascular diseases and the interference of physical exercise and sports on these pathologies are described in detail.
Will be taught the medical assessment for sports.
Learning Outcomes
To understand the influence of exercise on the cardiovascular system.
To enable the physician for the medical examination of the athlete. To know the indications and contraindications for exercise and sports.
To know the indications and limitations of physical exercise and sports in cardiovascular pathologies.
