Paul Hardman teaches on the Design and Multimedia course at the Department of Informatics Engineering (DEI) of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra and is a practicing graphic designer. He studied graphic arts at Liverpool Art School (JMU), has a MA in graphic design from Camberwell College of Arts (UAL) and is a Ph.D student on the Contemporary Art course of the University of Coimbra. His main research area is design pedagogy. He has published papers at Seminário Internacional Trabalho e Educação (2015) at CES-Coimbra and Confia (2016) at IPCA Barcelos. He is a co-founder of Camberwell Press and Clube dos Tipos and runs Studio And Paul. He is currently designing and illustrating a book project with publisher Xerefé. His work covers communication, editorial and identity design on diverse projects for cultural, publishing and architectural clients. There is more information on his website.
