Vasco Pereira is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra. He holds a MSc and PhD in Informatics Engineering from the same university. He is also a researcher at the Laboratory of Communications and Telematics of the Centre of Informatics and Systems of the University of Coimbra (CISUC) and has been involved in national and European research projects such as SAPRA, Q3M and ICT FP7 GINSENG. His main research interests include QoS, Wireless Sensor Networks , IoT, critical applications in IoT, computer security, 5G networks and Human in The Loop Cyber-Physical Systems.
