Short CV:

João Coutinho-Rodrigues is currently Full Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Sciences and Technology, University of Coimbra (where he has been since 1980), and senior researcher in the Decision Support in Systems Engineering group at INESC-Coimbra.

He received his Degree in Civil Eng., his MSc in Computer Science and PhD in Civil Eng. from the University of Coimbra.

Research interests include: decision support systems, multicriteria analysis, mathematical programming, network optimization, GIS, and applications in urban/environmental/transportation engineering including smartcities, infrastructures and sustainable mobility.

He has published scientific researches, among other peer-reviewed international scientific journals, some ranking in the first positions of the respective categories, in:
