Training required in Numerical Methods, Statistical Methods, Hydraulics, Hydrology and Urban Hydraulic and Sanitation.
Teaching Methods
Lectures on theoretical aspects, presentation and discussion of examples of practical application, resolution of problems, and autonomous development of a project of water supply and drainage (by students). Tutorial classes for implementation of the project.
Learning Outcomes
Transmit concepts and practices appropriate to the Project Planning, Operation and Management System Urban Water Supply and Drainage of Wastewater and Stormwater. Acquainted with modern tools of CAD / CAE, as well as the methods and mechanisms of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
Evaluation, analyze, discussion of technical and economical solutions as well as aspects of the exploration of the different infrastructure components of Sanitation Systems.

The sustainability in infrastructure Urban Hydraulics. Legal and Regulatory aspects. Urban Systems of Water Supply (dynamic modeling, quality modeling, creation of a model, calibration, energy management, leakage and loss control, tariffs). Urban Drainage Systems and Wastewater Drainage (modeling and analysis of turbulent free surface permanent flow, separate and combine systems, wastewater pumping facilities, simplified systems and quality in drainage systems). Master Plans for Water Supply, Drainage and Wastewater Drainage.
