Lectures and content analysis.

Evaluation: final written and oral exams (0- 20 grade system) on theoretical and practical subject matters.

In-class insightful participation is also taken into account for evaluation purposes.

Learning Outcomes

It is intended to equip students with solid theoretical and practical knowledge about the guarantees of obligations. Therefore students shold be able to understand the legal regime of the guaranties of obligations, in particular based on Portuguese Civil Law; be able to solve case studies based on those knowledge, as well as develop the ability to critically analyyze judicial decisions and different dogmatic proposals on the subject offered.
