Teaching Methods
Under tutorial guidance, students will prepare a written report within the scope of the research topic selected for the subsequent thesis. The document should include, among other elements, the state of the art, the objectives, the description of the problem(s) proposed, the techniques, methodologies and the software and computational tools to be used, the activity plan, and the expected results and indicators, including ethical and social consequences.
Learning Outcomes
The Thesis Project consists of a written document about the research theme chosen for the subsequent Thesis, and it should include, among other elements, the state of the art, the objectives, the description of the problem(s) proposed, the techniques, methodologies and the software and computational tools to be used, the activity plan, and the expected results and indicators, including ethical and social consequences.
Different skills will therefore be developed, namely: a) of analysis and synthesis; b) of oral and written communication; c) of information management; d) of critical thinking; e) of creativity, initiative and entrepreneurial spirit; f) of research and planning.

A written paper should be presented as a result of extensive bibliographical research on the topic chosen for the Thesis. It should include the state of the art of the research work to be performed, as well as the experimental approach to be followed, including the methodologies and the support tools to be used and the ethical and social consequences of the obtained results. It is also intended that the paper clearly defines the objectives, the gaps that the work will bridge and the impact of the work in the respective area of knowledge.

Assessment
The oral defence of the Thesis Project will be made before a jury of at least three members, including an expert in the area of knowledge of the Thesis: 100.0%
