Teaching Methods
In this module, students will participate in Seminars guest business personalities as a means of promoting their acquaintance with the basic concepts of entrepreneurship and corporate spirit, focusing on human resources management. The seminar speakers will be live, and real case studies will be discussed, in which the students’ active participation is encouraged.
Learning Outcomes
The aim of this module is to familiarize students with crucial tools for evaluating and implementating of new businesses. The strategical aim of the module is to encourage an entrepreneurial culture, developing a set of technical and social skills, essential to prepare the student for a corporate environment. The module also includes a major component on project and human resources management, enabling students to develop teamwork skills, interpersonal relationships, team leading and adaptability to new challenges.

Students will participate in Seminars led by businessmen and women with experience in R&D team leadership and management of R&D projects, directors of human resources and young entrepreneurs representing start-ups. A number of issues dealing with entrepreneurship and management will be addressed in these seminars,including:
- The entrepreneurial process, ways of thinking, reasoning and acting by entrepreneurs;
- Methods to apply to the creation of innovative products and services;
- R&D project management;
- Human Resources management: interaction of the leader with the research team.

The assessment will be based on a group project, involving the preparation and written and oral presentation of a Business Plan for a new company: 100.0%
