Teaching Methods

Lectures and practical classes.

The theoretical classes are lecture based.

Practical classes complement and clarify the theoretical concepts through solving practical exercises in cosmography, the analysis of aerological diagrams and basic synoptic maps, the graphical representation of climate information and the classification of climates.

Learning Outcomes

This class is an introduction to the study of the Earth's atmosphere on a global scale, with the fundamental objectives of analysis of climatic-meteorological variables that characterize it and the processes and factors that explain them.

It is intended that students understand "climate" from its temporal variability and spatial diversity.
