Role-Play, development of pragmatic-communicative competencies for an apprenticeship meeting students’ requirements and interests.

Learning Outcomes

This course is intended for actual beginners who whish to start studying Italian. The course corresponds to level A1 of Common European Framework of Languages​​.

Listening: understand simple words and currently used phrases concerning contexts which are familiar to the student in a clear and slow conversation pace.

Reading - understanding familiar names, words and very simple sentences, for example, notices and posters or catalogs.

Spoken Interaction - easy communication, in a slow pace and with an interlocutor that repeats the sentences using simple vocabulary and help make sentences. Questions and answers about known or simple relating to areas of immediate need.

Spoken production - using simple phrases and sentences to describe places and people
Writing - write a short, simple postcard, fill in forms with personal data.

Syllabus

The aim of this course is to provide students with the skills to communicate at a level consistent with the linguistic level in question.

Introduced herself and others, courtesy formulas, write a letter / postcard, the daily routine; accept / reject a proposal / invitation; interacting in a public place; expressing agreement and disagreement; ask and give information about routes.

VOCABULARY:
Names of countries and professions, the alphabet, numbers, hours, and local public services, time and space, food and beverages; colors.
GRAMMAR:
Personal pronouns and articles, adjectives of nationality; demonstrative adjectives, interrogative pronouns, prepositions, plurals, possessive adjectives, the Indicative Present and the Imperative.

PRONUNCIATION AND SPELLING:

Consonantal and vowel sounds, word stress, prosody double consonants / gemination.

CULTURE:

Formulas of courtesy; tourism, public services, society and leisure, family, food and Italian cuisine.
