At the end the student should be able to:
- Identify the different types of child maltreatment and recognize their specificity
- develop skills on assessment and diagnosis of child maltreatment situations
- Know prevention and intervention programs designed for victims of child maltreatment
- Use therapeutical strategies to work with victims of child maltreatment
- Conceptualize specific interventions in the dynamics of Placement Institutions, in order to make them more protective and therapeutic

- Assessment of developmental trauma: instruments and techniques
- Prevention and Intervention programs for the child and family
- School interventions with chidren with developmental trauma
- Methods and techniques of intervention with abused children: life story work and play therapy
- Residential care of abused children: a) Children and Youth at risk Protection Law; b) developmental impact of institutional care, c) therapeutic care
