Training Course in Italian Language and Culture IV

General Objectives of the Course

Reading, writing and conversation will be emphasized in this course, with the aim of developing students’ receptive and productive skills in Italian. Students should become independent users of the language, acquiring skills corresponding to CEFR level B1.

Scale of 0-20 points

Learning Objectives and Intended Skills

At the end of the course, students will be able to work in a more autonomous manner with texts in Italian, to speak and produce simple connected texts about subjects that are familiar to them or of personal interest, acquiring also more confidence in pronunciation and spelling.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Regulation n.º 339/2012, published in Official Gazette no. 152, 2. Grade, August 7th (Regulation of Creation and Operation of non-degree courses at the UC).

Graduation Requirements

As a rule, students are assessed throughout the semester (continuous assessment), and are required to attend at least 75% of the classes and take two tests. In-class participation, homework and other assignments are also taken into account for evaluation. At the end of each level, students can request the corresponding certificate, provided the course has been successfully completed.
