Specialization Course in Endodontics

General Objectives of the Course

The Specialization Course in Endodontics aims to enable the students with skills in endodontics and associated pathologies, enabling them to assist differentiated according to the principles of quality recommended by the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), besides contributing to the changes necessary for continuous improvement of the quality of endodontic treatment
The specific aims will be:
-Diagnose the pulp and periapical pathology; - To train for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of apical periodontitis; - Assess the psychological aspects pertaining to the private practice of endodontics; - Take preventive measures of apical periodontitis; - Perform simple and complex treatments; - Use all the means at its disposal to improve their training.
In addition, the Graduate will: - Teach particularly the biomedical sciences related to the subjects; - Encourage development of a scientific attitude to the formulation and stimulation of professional interest; - Teach the principles of scientific methodology; - Teaching how to interpret the literature; - To stimulate research activities and oral and written presentation of scientific results and clinical data.

Admission Requirements

The applicants must have an undergraduate degree, master’s or legal equivalent graduation in the areas of dentistry or medicine (with specialty in stomatology), and have professional experience, preferably.
