The LEI evaluation rules follow the Regulation of Knowledge Evaluation of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra published in Diário da República, 2nd series - No. 74 - April 16, 2018. The evaluation of the curricular units is carried out taking into account their specificities. Some of the curricular units are evaluated by final exam, while others follow the periodic assessment model, including evaluation methods with problem solving, laboratory work, written assignments, projects, and presentations, among others.
