No specific courses are required. English language ability. is required (Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference - CEFR).
Teaching Methods
Lectures, using audiovisual media, with the presentation of concepts, principles and practices of innovation management. There will be presentations by invited guests, which will present their examples to complement the concepts studied.
Practical classes consist of monitoring the students’ performance in the activities submitted for evaluation. In these activities, conducted in groups of 5 to 7 students, students must demonstrate their skills in planning, organization and teamwork.
Learning Outcomes
Today’s organizations’ competitiveness increasingly depends on their ability to be both efficient and innovative. This requires a type of management base on a systemic perspective and a process approach, in which the ability to define and share goals and stimulate cooperation between different actors are essential. This requires managers with specific skills and competences. In this discipline, students will be exposed to concepts, principles and practices in innovation management, and at the same time, they will become familiar with methodologies and tools to implement innovation on organizations.
