In this context, the syllabus is linked to the Chair's objectives and to the enhancement of UNESCO Heritage in Portugal.

The thematic orientations depend on the conferences to be held with the heads of other chairs in the international network, with UNESCO managers in Portugal and possibly abroad, with managers of sites on the Tentative List, with managers of intangible cultural heritage, among others.

- presentation and discussion of UNESCO's objectives and organisation;

- enhancement of World Heritage through dialogue and discussion sessions with those responsible for World Heritage properties;
