Teaching Methods
Theoretical teaching involves expository and demonstrative methods, as well as case -type discussion. Simulation and anatomic and digital modeling technologies will be used.

Have comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of non-surgical therapy.
Have comprehensive knowledge in determining prognosis and developing a comprehensive periodontal treatment plan.
Have comprehensive knowledge about the implementation of a systemic phase of therapy.
Proficiency in the selection and prescription of medications for the management of preoperative, operative and postoperative pain and anxiety.
Have comprehensive knowledge on oral hygiene motivation and instruction, particularly on health behavior change counseling in periodontal care.
Have comprehensive knowledge about the evidence of mechanical supragingival plaque patient control and respective methods.
Have comprehensive knowledge on chemical dental biofilm control.
Have comprehensive knowledge about the different manual and mechanical approaches and instruments to subgingival root debridement.
Have comprehensive knowledge about non-surgical mechanical debridement to peri-implant mucositis and peri-implantitis.
