Tutorial with systematic orientation of the activities that have been properly planned and whose implementation is structured through a timeline whose execution the student should follow rigorously.

Learning Outcomes

Appreciation of a progress report on the research developed from the moment the application was accepted, taking into consideration critical nuclear criteria, in order to make a decision on the capacity of the student to advance in the dissertation and, if so, to eventually give advice regarding the aspects that need some improvement.

Syllabus

Realization of a progress report on the activities developed within previously presented pre-project in the submission, taking into consideration the following criteria: literature review, data collection (plan, necessary contacts, effective data collection), data treatment plan and/or data processing (justification and feasibility), additional training (in the thematic area of the project, methodology, data analysis), plausibility of the execution of the project in the expected time and public oral defense.

Assessment
Written presentation of a progress report /and its oral discussion with a jury composed by three professors (one external, two of the doctoral course). Its approval and a required minimum of Good grade (in a scale compriosing Fail/Fair/Good/Very Good) : 100.0%
