Learning Outcomes

• Acquire an integrated view of the main metabolic pathways in the different types of cells, and their regulation.
• Understand the importance of hormonal control in maintaining homeostasis in the body and tissue interrelationship.
• Know the metabolic adaptations that occur in the body in the state post-abundance, early and prolonged fasting and during refeeding, as well as in different abnormal or pathological situations
-Develop the capacity to analyze and synthesize the information transmitted by the faculty and on the acquired in a personal way.
-Develop the ability to prepare reports for the dissemination of results derived from scientific or professional activity.
-That students be able to integrate knowledge and face the complexity of formulating judgments based on information that, being incomplete or limited, include reflections on social and ethical responsibilities related to the application of their knowledge and judgments.
