Learning Outcomes

The course intend to boost the students’ legal competence in International, European and foreign family law, in a highly debated issues, specially as far as the Portuguese and the Berman legal systems are concerned , in the intertwinning with the international and European demands. The course intends to enhance the competence to critically analyse the aforementioned issue, specially in its comparative approach. In addition to the exchange during the synchronous, interactive sessions, networks and communities of practice shall be established for different status groups, such as students, doctoral students and instructors from both universities.
