Teaching Methods

The theoretical component is supported by a constructivist methology, featuring commentaries and online discussion of relevant issues, in which the activity, participation and collaboration of learners are active and vital.The practical component involves the design and development by learners of thematic projects supervised by the teacher.

Learning Outcomes

The curricular unit  aims to provide students with the competences needed for understand the concept and the scope of Educanional Technology. The following learning outcomes are expected:

To know the concept of Educational Technology

To understand the  pedagogical implications of technology use

To understand the negative implications of technology misuse;

To acquire the ability to use different  technologies

To develop skills related to the  design of a research vs intervention  project concerning the use of a technological device.
