Teaching Methods

1) Dialogued exhibition, interviews with education and training professionals, focusing on the sharing of their experiences, the development of their skills (soft skills and hard skills) and their training and career paths.

2) Autonomous individual work, to carry out the exercise of balance of competences and application of the tools analyzed in the classes (Curriculum Vitae, Letter of Presentation and Motivation and Reference Letter)

3) Tutorial monitoring and supervision of autonomous work.

Learning Outcomes

The developed activities contribute to the consolidation of self-knowledge about the basic, transversal and specific skills necessary for the future professional practice in the various areas of activity of the pedagogue, as an expert in education and training. We expect to receive graduate students more able to conceive and plan their life project, which may focus on pursuing studies and/or the beginning of a profession.

The seminar unit aims to:

- Understand the state of the art of the pedagogue's soft skills and specific skills in different professional scenarios

- Analyse the influence of soft skills on the development of specific skills

- Carry out your skills balance in order to identify your professional needs and define a professional life project

- Apply tools of self-knowledge and self-valorization.
