Recommended Prerequisites

Mastery of History in Secondary Education.

Teaching Methods

Expository interactive lecture, Film viewing, Group work in the classroom, Kahoot, Debate, Individual and/or collective reading, "flipped classrrom", research and syntheses on relevant topics.

It is intended to reconcile the dynamic expository method, for framing and elucidation, with the use of pedagogical practices centered on the student's work. During the course, small works are to be carried out inside and outside the classroom; as well as synthesis of the topics covered.

Learning Outcomes

Relate the conditions of society with the educational dynamics in the synchronous period;

Exercise educational reflection considering the knowledge of the historical contexts of educational concepts and practices;

Distinguish pedagogical proposals from educational realities;

Characterize the pedagogical thinking of different times;

Demonstrate the contemporary importance of the most outstanding pedagogical proposals for the History of Education;

Explain the main characteristics of the policies and educational institutions of each era.
