Teaching Methods
The theoretical component includes a constructivist-inspired approach, with periods of lecturing by the teacher and presentation /discussion by students of relevant themes concerning design and development of different educational materials, in which activity, participation and collaboration of the trainees is essential. The practical component involves planning, construction and assessment of projects by the trainees.
Learning Outcomes
The curricular unit aims to provide students with the competences needed for designing games and educational tools and for understanding the role of play and educational materials in the pedagogical process and challenges that they play in general in everyday life. The following learning outcomes are expected:
To develop a culture of innovation and creativity
To understand the concepts of educational materials, learning resources,Games,Videogames
To know the process of development of different educational materials
To develop competences concerning design and development of different types of educational materials and resources.
