Teaching Methods

The theoretical component includes a lecture’s approach based on audiovisual means and periods for discussion of themes in which activity, participation and collaboration of students is essential. The practical component implies the development of reflection’s assignments on the themes approached in classes by students.

Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit is aimed to develop a set of competencies in the field of evaluation, including an understanding of different paradigms, methods, and fields of educational evaluation as well as the construction of evaluation frameworks.

Students should be able to:

• Understand different generations and paradigms of evaluation;

• Understand components and methods of assessment;

• Analyze the different fields of educational evaluation;

• Elaborate and construct frameworks of evaluation.
