Recommended Prerequisites
Taking into consideration the novel character of the majority of topics to be addressed in the unit, it shall only be noted basic English (written and oral) skills as a requisite.
Teaching Methods
An initial theoretical methodology will be adopted, inviting the students’ participation to acquire the knowledge, skills and competences defined so that they can be put into practice and a practical methodology that focus on group works for the exploitation and protection of a business idea.
Learning Outcomes
The student shall acquire a set of fundamental skills and knowledge on Intellectual Property and knowledge transfer and valorization. Furthermore, he/she shall be challenged to plan innovation and entrepreneurship under a practical perspective, namely developing group activities for the ideation and concretization of a business idea, demonstrating it on an "Elevator Pitch" model presentation and showing hot to protect the related intellectual assets.
