Learning Outcomes

The curricular unit "Autonomous Research Assignment" is defined as a learning process in which the student engages in independent study activities and assumes a significant measure of responsibility for his/her learning. The intervention of the lecturer is, by definition, reduced, and aims to foster the students' autonomy in the field of research skills (literature review) and scientific writing.

Syllabus

The syllabus is defined annually according to the thematic lines proposed by the teaching staff. The lecturers  assigned to this course unit propose a generic theme and a small number of key references (two or three) on it. The students then develop their research work autonomously.

This formative modality is made available in a specific place in the FPCEUC website and its publicity should take place until the beginning of September of the academic year to which it refers and consists of the list of themes that can be chosen by the students and the identification of the lecturers who propose them.
