Teaching Methods

In the theoretical classes, an initial exposition of the topics covered will be made, followed by an analysis and critical discussion by the students of articles and cases published on these same topics.

In practical classes, an initial presentation will be made about the main techniques and models of analysis of processes and data, followed by the autonomous resolution by the students of exercises for the application of the techniques and models addressed.

Learning Outcomes

After completing the curricular unit, the student should know and understand the terminology and concepts associated with Technologies and Information Systems (IT/IS) and the processes of digital transformation, know and understand the practices and tools associated with the management of information systems in organizations and, in this context, understand and know how to develop some of the main models of representation of information and processes.
