Teaching Methods

Face-to-face hours:
Tutorial orientation to (1) define the problem to be solved, (2) identify appropriate methodologies and tools for the development of the work, and (3) deepen the capacity to apply knowledge and/or conduct research to solve new or unfamiliar problems.
Autonomous work:
Development of the defined work. Drafting the corresponding document, which will be subject to evaluation.

Learning Outcomes

The Dissertation consists of a scientific research, which must result in a document to be presented and defended in a public examination. The dissertation is supervised by, at least, one PhD member of UC. The dissertation must address an issue which is relevant to the subject area of the course, and while it can have a theoretical, applied or experimental emphasis, it must be such that the student's research skills and critical capacity may be assessed.
