Teaching Methods

Face-to-face hours:
Tutorial orientation to (1) define the problem to be solved, (2) identify appropriate methodologies and tools for the development of the work, and (3) deepen the capacity to apply knowledge and/or conduct research to solve new or unfamiliar problems.
Autonomous work:
Development of the defined work. Drafting the corresponding document, which will be subject to evaluation.

Learning Outcomes

The Project on Engineering of Concrete Structures consists of an applied work, which must result in a document to be presented and defended in a public examination. The theme of this project may be the resolution of a specific practical problem, with the application of one or more methods/techniques. It is supervised by, at least, one PhD holder of UC. The project must address an applied issue which is relevant to the subject area of the course and it must be such that the student's skills and abilities may be assessed.
