Teaching Methods

In teaching the course, it is anticipated the presentation of theoretical concepts and advanced knowledge on the topics defined in the syllabus. This will be followed by exemplification . This will be complemented by case studies about the various issues. The evaluation will be performed through written test.

Obtaining basic concepts on how composite structures behave and their application on building structures and bridges.

Understand the advantages and disadvantages of using composite structures.

The importance of connections in this type of structures.

Aquire competencies on the design of composite structures according to the European standards.
