Teaching Methods
The course intends to exercise the design in real pratice along all design stages. An architectural and/or deployment plant must be taken in consideration. FE software is also a mandatory tool for the job. The evaluation will be made through a design project.
Learning Outcomes
This course intends to discuss and promote the conception of special timber structures, throught it's analysis, code confirmation and detailing. Are included hereby, namely, tall buildings, bridges, 3D trusses, gridshells or others with big span.
