Teaching Methods
In teaching the course, it is anticipated the presentation of theoretical concepts and advanced knowledge on the topics defined in the syllabus. This will be followed by exemplification. This will be complemented by case studies about the various issues. The evaluation method will include a written exam (60%) and a synthesis work (40%).

3 - Transport, handling and storage. Alignment & suitability of supports. Moisture control plan. Erection plan. Mechanical connections and Carpentry connections. Bonding.
4 - Permitted geometrical deviations. Permitted fabrication deviations on members, holes and fasteners. Permitted assembly deviations. Permitted erection deviations
5 - Appearance and finishes;

7 - Safety during construction. Temporary stability. Fire risk.
8 - Errors and failures in timber structures.
