Teaching Methods

The teaching process is based on monitoring the work of learners - appropriation of content, clarification of doubts, and carrying out activities. There will be individual activities (tests with automatic feedback), and group activities (teacher-monitored forums).
In the practical component, students will perform tasks related to the ultrasound exploration of the abdomen of the participating pairs (they serve as models), to recognize anatomical structures or make a simple measurement of an organ or part of it. Immediate feedback will be given by the teacher with a demonstration of procedures.
Participants' confidentiality will be guaranteed by signing a confidentiality agreement upon registration.
Students perform a final test on the theoretical and practical concepts acquired. The activities will be classified on a scale from 0 to 20 values, with the final grade being the arithmetic average of the theoretical component and the practical component in equal parts (50%T and 50%P).
