Teaching Methods

Seminar classes, privileging a theoretical-practical approach, which combines the presentation of theoretical juridical bases with discussion of cases and presentation of papers. 

Learning Outcomes

This course of  Family Law and Family Procedural Law intends to provide students specific knowledge about Family Law, Children Law and Procedural Family and Children Law in order to be able to identify, question and understand  the main problems in this area as well as recognize their recent outcomes and future tendecies.

Vertical family relationships. Fundamental guiding principles. The central role of the child. Purpose and Ground. Legal nature. Affiliation (establishment of affiliation, establishment of affiliation by pma, parental responsibilities and their effects); Kinship relationship (right to personal relationships between grandparents and grandchildren); Promotion and Protection of Children. Principles. Procedural rules. Orders. General Prcedural Regime of Civil Guardianship Orders. Principles. Special Procedural Regimes.
