Teaching Methods

The curricular unit uses both seminar as tutorial classes, for exposition of the subjects addressed and for preparation of the research work, respectively. Samples preparation and characterization.

Learning Outcomes

Understanding of the physical mechanisms that justify the electric and electronic behaviour of ceramic materials. Study of its properties in function of its nature, structure and processing. Applications of studied ceramics: Advantages and limitations.
