Electric Power Production, Electric Power Management.

Teaching Methods

Regular classes with, using audiovisual means, to expose concepts, principles and  fundamental theories. Tutorial classes. Seminars driven by students according to previously assigned themes.

Learning Outcomes

Students should able to discuss and problematize the challenges that the decarbonization of the energy sector poses to energy planning and the alternatives / tools available. They should also be able to develop energy planning at local and national levels. Students should be able to characterize the challenges and problematize distributed production as a key element for a more sustainable development. In particular, they should develop skills and be familiar with tools and methods that allow them to deal with the challenges of active interaction between buildings and energy networks.
