Teaching Methods
In teaching the course, it is expected the presentation of theoretical concepts and generic knowledge related to the themes defined in the course syllabus, study of practical cases and resolution of application exercises. During the course, students will have the opportunity to get in touch with practical examples of the application of the transmitted concepts. The assessment includes the theoretical content and the theoretical-practical component. The evaluation is carried out through a theoretical-practical exam (20 values).
Learning Outcomes
With this course, it is intended that the student acquire knowledge about the management of urban water and waste systems, the role of the regulator and quality system. The student should understand and the reports prepared in the sector of sustainability, service to the user, service management and environmental management. The student should obtain skills that allow him to dialogue with technicians (engineers) in the area, being able to understand the functioning of different solutions and have a critical spirit about the proposals that are presented.
