Teaching Methods

The student will be integrated into the research team of an ongoing project at FCTUC. The supervisor will monitor the student's tutorial that supported by the team members research work compatible with the project in which he will be involved. At the end of the course, the student presents a written report on the activities developed and discusses it with his supervisor. The final classification will be Pass/Fail.

Learning Outcomes

Allow students to immerse themselves in the research environment of an R&D unit at UC, integrating teams that develop innovative research work. The student is expected to acquire:
Ability to critically analyze and evaluate and synthesize new and complex ideas;
Ability to use appropriate research methods to solve problems, respecting legal requirements and ethical
standards and academic quality and integrity;
Ability to carry out research work as part of research teams.

The curricular unit's program depends on the research topic to be developed, considering the objectives of the project in which the student will be involved and will be defined jointly by the supervisor and the student.
