Teaching Methods

Theoretical Classes

Presentation of the concepts covered in the course with the help of audiovisual media. Study visit to a manufacturing facility.

Theoretical-Practical Classes

In theoretical-practical classes, problems related to the topics covered in theoretical classes are discussed and solved. Around 30% of classes take place in a laboratory environment. In addition, students must carry out and present the final project of a flexible production cell to be carried out in the laboratory.

Learning Outcomes

In this course, students are expected to be able to accurately formulate the concepts involved in the adoption of manipulation and mobile robotics. They should be capable of systematizing concepts, communicating with specialists to specify interventions, planning and managing robotization processes, intervening at the technical level, and identifying error situations while mobilizing the necessary teams to resolve them. The course involves the development of a project, which in practice means designing a robotic solution for a given problem.
