Industrial Control.

Teaching Methods

Theoretical Lectures

Presentation of concepts related to the themes addressed in the curricular unit. This process occurs with the aid of audiovisual technology (slides and videos).

Practical Lectures

Problems related to the subjects taught in theoretical lectures are discussed and resolved. Moreover, students are invited to present the following works: off-line robot programming, remote control, robot integration in productive cells. Industrial case studies are presented.

Learning Outcomes

The aim of this curricular unit is for students to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of industrial robotics, i.e., understand and be able to design a complete industrial robotic cell. The students acquireskills in robotic manipulators, off-line robot programming, control and remote monitorization using industrial networks, design of robotic cells, simulation, etc. In the end of the course the students should be able to change existing solutions already implemented at a technical level.
