Teaching Methods
Expository classes, in the form of seminars, covering the topics of the syllabus of the UC.
Tutorial guidance of students during the preparation of the systematic literature review, writing of the article and preparation of the oral presentation.
The result of the uc will take into account the quality of the article and the oral presentation developed by the student, being assigned by a jury of 3 elements.
Learning Outcomes
Develop communication skills in the context of scientific research, with a focus on writing and oral presentation skills. It is intended that the student is able to:
1. Know the main methodologies associated with a systematic literature review;
2. Demonstrate a comprehensive view of the state of the art and the main research challenges in a scientific sub-area of EGI, preferably related to the research work that the student intends to develop throughout his Thesis.
3. Demonstrate autonomous learning, synthesis and writing skills, namely through its application in the preparation of reports and articles;
4. Demonstrate oral communication skills, namely in presenting the results of a systematic literature review.
