Storm water management is an important issue for local communities in the organization of their territory, both for public health reasons (risk of deterioration in the quality of the surface water) as well as safety reasons (flood risk). In a sustainable development approach, the XXX are also concerned because the reuse of rainwater for certain uses makes it possible to carry out drinking water savings.

This course covers the regulatory framework for storm water (urban planning, reuse of rainwater), the characterization (pollution) of rainwater, possible remediation treatments, and exposes the different techniques for regulating rainwater quantity (valleys and ditches, draining trenches, wells, etc.) infiltration, cellular structures, dry dock, tank structure pavements, storage roofs, etc.). Reuse and reuse of storm water in the habitat (private individuals, collective use habitat) is also addressed.
